I’ve moved!

So welcome to my WordPress blog!  I’ve found it to be a bit more user-friendly for me than Blogger, but I digress….

SO much has been happening in my beautifully messy life!

I received a scholarship for a personal development course, and it’s been INTENSE!!!  I plan to post some of my epiphanies as I move through it, but there’s some other ‘stuff’ I want to work on internally first…  Part of it is a social media cleanse.  I’m actually super excited about that, as I tend to allow fb to suck alot of my time.  Imagine how much ‘extra time’ I’ll have!  🙂

Things don’t happen to me, they happen for me!

I see the Universe making shifts in my world, and it’s both exciting and terrifying.  I’m planning a trip to Los Angeles in July for the “LIVE” portion of the course.  I’ve never been more than 2 hours away from home alone!  What an opportunity to grow!

Speaking of growing – I met a new friend today at little E’s school – they had “muffins for mom” which was packed! They gave each family a small mason jar with a sticker that says “summertime fun” and in it we can put pieces of paper with lots of little fun (inexpensive) activities and games to do this summer.  The lady next to us mentioned that she has a small farm/garden and that she will be overcome with produce shortly – we exchanged info, and I really look forward to fresh tomatoes!

I did get a small planter, and 2 cherry tomato plants from Lowe’s this past weekend. Along with some other little decoration plants. I guess my farmers’ daughter genes are coming out of hibernation! 🙂 I also “planted” the bottom of a lettuce I had – I’ll have to let you know if it takes root.

Spring is the time that rebirth happens – both in nature (who’s seen robin eggs?!) and in ourselves… So open those windows, let the dust out of our souls and window sills, and enjoy!!

Until Next Time,
