For so long I felt like I wasn’t _____ enough. Not thin enough, not pretty enough, not enough money, blah blah blah. Now I find myself saying there’s not enough hours in the day. Realistically though, there may not be plenty, but there is ENOUGH.
And I am enough.
I have a gift, and while to some that may seem like it’s tooting my own horn, or being egotistical, it’s really coming from a place of knowledge. Like, deep in my bones, I know I have the ability to help other women remember that they are enough.
Don’t get me wrong – I’m still learning!
None of us are perfect- so no worries! I’m still working on lots of stuff – heck, right now I have a food baby that is requiring me to wear nothing but elastic waists! (*that means I’m still working on the “thin enough” thing as mentioned earlier)
BUT, I’ve been to and thru a few spots in hell, and I want nothing more than to try to help you avoid those burns.
I’ve got experience with trauma, sexual assault, mental health issues, addiction, infidelity, parenting the not-so-easily-guided and attachment challenged, step-parenting, financial issues (bankruptcy/foreclosure/more month than $$), health problems, deaths, births, sibling rivalry, family drama, work/career betrayals, ummmm…. There’s probably more…but I digress.
We have a responsibility to each other.
As a mother, I’m realizing more and more the responsibility we have to raise the next generation. As we do better than our parents, and they did better than theirs, we are in a unique position to truly have a ripple effect for many generations to come. Why would we want to tear others down, when we can lift each other up?
I’d love to hear how I can help! Head on over to Facebook and leave me a comment about your “Not ____ enough”moments and let’s lift each other up!
