It would seem that perspective is everything.

As I am preparing to really move full force into my coaching business, with a new program launching this month (Next week the official announcement will be made!!) and making plans to be more deliberate with my posts and material, I could certainly look at these challenges as blocks, or hurdles, or raging rivers that I am in need of crossing.  Or – I can look at them as preparation.  Training per se.

Facebook live is no joke.

Last night I did my first Facebook live post.  It was certainly an opportunity to step outside of my comfort zone.  It was also an opportunity to see where I can improve. Didn’t get a chance to see it?  Here’s the link to my Facebook page – you may have to scroll down a little.   I was procrastinating hopping on live.  And then I really wanted to delete it because it wasn’t ‘perfect’.  But what better way to show my readers (and watchers!) that confidence and ability is more than being perfect than to leave that up and then direct a bit more traffic to it?  🙂

People have authenticity radar

It may not be completely functional 100% of the time, but there’s a level of bullsh!t that will show thru when one is not being authentic.  And authenticity is scary!  I recently posted in a group on Facebook and it was a brief intro – I mentioned that I was transitioning into my own business, but nothing about what or where to find me.  I got an almost immediate response that the group was not a place to troll for business.  A part of me was offended.  But the truth is – I am hoping to connect with future clients in that group.

I made it clear that I don’t do slimey salesy stuff.  I do however believe in building up relationships and lifting my fellow women up.  If someone feels called to get more information, I’d love to spend some time chatting.  I LOVE HELPING PEOPLE. And that’s why I’m doing this.  To connect with women who need a helping hand.   And while it’s growing – I can use your help too!  What topics are important to you?  I’d love to hear what’s on your mind!
